HIS DIVINE GRACE GURUJI – BRIEF ON HIS LIFE & WORK
Capturing the entire Golden lifetime of Him and covering all of his divine actions is beyond the reach of any writer, pen and paper. But at least an introduction can be comprehended, which is as follows…
An icon of “Harmony-Brotherhood-Unity”, Brahm Swaroop Param Pujya Guruji Maharaj, is one of the fifty-one saints discipled by Brahm Swaroop Param Pujya Yogi Bapa, who also acclaimed that P.P. Guruji was a Param Haṇs, P.P. Anand Anand Swami, discipled by His Supremacy Lord Swaminarayan himself.
P.P. Guruji was born on 13th March 1937 in Mumbai at 6 am. Just at the time when the Sun illuminates the entire universe with the molten-golden beams, the divine godhead came to enlighten multiple souls through his God-centered radiance. Growing up in a family well-rooted in spirituality and service, He naturally incorporated these ethical values.
Guruji is very intelligent, active and focused right from childhood. He is a qualified B.Sc. Graduate from Mumbai and still possesses great command in languages, English, Hindi, Gujarati and is a Sanskrit Shastri. Along with it, he has remarkable writing and speaking skills. Even having such great educational prowess and linguistic mastery, with which he could have earned a well-settled livelihood in a city like Mumbai, He chose the path of GOD over the other worldly pleasures, which is defined as follows…
When He met His Divine Grace Kakaji, in the direction of Yogi Bapa, He was very much inclined to Kakaji's selfless love and care. He felt so belonged and united with Kakaji, that even when his mind was reluctant, he could not turn down Kakaji's Agya to initiate as a well-educated Saint under Yogiji Maharaj, who wanted to disciple fifty-one Educated Saints. From the start, P.P. Guruji had a very sharp and creative mind, which he had now surrendered in the Lotus Feet of Yogiji Maharaj and Kakaji Maharaj.
He could not stay with either of his Gurus for a longer time, as after five years of being a Sadhu, the sanstha was separated, and later Kakaji Maharaj asked him to start a Temple in Delhi to spread Swaminarayan Satsang in Northern India. Without ever losing heart, he faithfully followed every Agya of Kakjee, and in doing so, earned His trust and attained an inner happiness.
Come what may, P.P.Guruji has always chosen the trusted path of Bhajan, of “Swaminarayan” mantra, in his entire spiritual Journey, as mentored by Kakjee. Guruji has taught the same to everyone who was troubled by worldly problems. Guruji's very persona radiates humility, simplicity, and the highest modesty, which attracts every Hari-Bhakt.
P.P.Guruji has travelled an arduous journey from the time when none could even properly pronounce “Swaminarayan” primarily, in Delhi, to a time when he made Swaminarayan Satsang lives of many devotees; from the time when the financials were weak and only handful of Sansangis joined, to a time when He has built an exemplary Temple which is a beacon for many souls. Whenever asked how it was that he achieved such great things and simultaneously always kept God at the centre of his life, he always attributed the growth of satsang in Delhi to the grace of H.D.G. Kakaji.
His selfless, evergreen efforts for the upliftment of multiple Haribhaktos, by way of silent, constant and continuous Bhajan, have brought prosperity and divinity in all our lives. P.P.Guruji's joyful charisma and God-radiant persona naturally make everyone attracted to his activities, which are full of unprecedented surprises and divine bliss.
Today, his sole wish and desire remains to see his children play with utmost unity and undivided brotherhood, without noticing flaws in anyone, spreading only Love, in the service of God and his manifested God-head, to attain the highest liberation and Akshardhaam in the human form. May Lord Swaminarayan and His divine manifestation P.P.Guruji bestow his utmost blessings upon us, that we may achieve such liberation by way of Bhajan, the path that Guruji always preached, and by living up to their terms and please them by our God-Centered behaviour.
